MEET ADEN

Our son Aden was a happy, healthy, smiley baby boy. He was born on August 21, 2012. He passed away at a caregiver’s house on January 18, 2013. He will be forever missed by all of his family, especially his big brother Owen, who was just two years old when his baby brother passed away.

At the time of Aden’s death, he was not in a safe sleep environment, as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

ABOUT US

In keeping Aden’s memory alive, we are devoted to helping build awareness and preventing this tragic loss from happening to another family. While we have always followed the safe sleep guidelines with our children, we recognize that not everyone understands the importance of or has training on safe sleep practices.

We strive to provide tools and information to as many parents of newborns as we can on safe sleeping practices and preventing a death due to SUID/SIDS.

WHAT WE DO

Our mission is to educate others on the dangers of an unsafe sleeping environment for infants by providing safe sleep packages to local hospitals and organizations for families of newborns.

We currently donate to OSF Ottawa, Morris Hospital, La Salle County WIC, KSB in Dixon, CGH Sterling, and various daycares and organizations.

These safe sleep packages include: a Halo SleepSack®, Safe Sleep and Snug board book, onesie and safe sleep information.
